Buying an aeroplane was never an option for František Hadrava. He much prefers to tinker on the aircraft he builds for himself, at his own small workshop. His homemade flying machines are much influenced by the beginnings of aviation. And when František takes off with one of his planes for the first time, the spirit of the pioneers blows right into his face. After all, he never knows if he’ll be coming down safe again. But that feeling is all worth it.
