One year after 9/11, ex-detective Iris Troy has completed her 10-year imprisonment and works as a cab driver in New York City. While looking for the person that framed her, she meets two Syrian men that have come to the United States to launch a blood feud and the victim’s son, Omar with whom she is instantly emotionally connected.
