Ram Krishna Ranjan
Best Short Film
Ram Krishna Ranjan is the Program Director for the MFA in Film at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg. He works at the intersection of research, pedagogy, and film practice. He holds a PhD in artistic research and has made several films over the years, which have been shown in both film and visual art contexts. His long-standing areas of interest include decoloniality, migration, gentrification, memory and nation, and the intersectionality of caste, class, and gender.
Sara Dufossé
Best Student Project
After graduating in 2015 from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in Belgium, Sara Dufossé turns to a career of production manager. She has been working for several projects in Brussels: short, features and TV series (Pandora, Madly in Life, Past Love Syndrom…) While working in production, Sara continues to develop her own projects as a director. She has made 2 short films: ‘The ice cubes’ in 2019 and she is now releasing her latest short ‘Clara takes the wheel’, produced by Velvet Films and La Ravageuse Saga, in April 2025.

Olof Berghe
Best Swedish Production
Olof Berghe is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has earned recognition for multiple films. He sees himself more as a storyteller than a director, believing that with a strong script and skilled actors, a film almost makes itself. His belief is summed up as: “Don’t make a film just because you want to make a film — make it because you have a story worth telling.”
